With Ron’s support, we have taken Guppy to get a new vet’s opinion about treatment options for her condition. The good news is that other than the cleft palate, she seems to be a healthy and happy cat. She is able to eat, drink, and clean herself, which is all comforting to know. She is definitely living her best life here at the FGSC! That said, we will continue to explore treatment options to see if there is anything that can or should be done for her condition.  We’d like to thank Ron again for all his help. He is turning out to be the purrfect sponsor for Guppy!

With 24 cats in residence on the February 2021 opening weekend, there were plenty of personalities for people to meet and greet. A trio of new kittens made their debut, while some fan favorites poured on the charm. The cats were thrilled to be able to see people again and were ready to mingle with guests.

FGSC volunteers partnered with Long Beach Felines to sew cloth face masks for local healthcare professionals and homeless shelters.

Long Beach artist WhosVlad recently completed a stunning mural outside the Feline Good Social Club.

Although this is currently a challenging time for all, we wanted to take a moment to share some happy news –  quite a few of our FGSC cats have recently been adopted!
